Another day goes by.. and a bit of work gets done!

I've finally finished painting, once I finish blogging I'm heading downstairs to clean up and get ready to lay the last of the flooring.

I spent some time this evening moving in my 42" Widescreen HDTV (the one my parents won.. and I'm borrowing!) It fits inside the wall - and looks stunning! I'll post a picture as soon as I get a camera or my webcam down there.

Suffice to say my new office is really starting to look awesome! :) Once I get it finished up and moved in I'll have a little open house and we can all 'party it up' in some form or another. Probably just vege and watch some movies :)

A friend of mine totally randomly blurted out "Type Writers for life!" .. sounded like such a great name/idea.

I was thinking - I should make that into a t-shirt line. With typewritten typeset on the t-shirt and a computer with a crossout circle on it (like the nosmoking signs).

Maybe even a shirt with "1337 Typewriters PWN" or something nerdy like that :)

..Kinda like my 2b || !2b line. ("To be or not to be")

I've gotten interested in SEO again and am running some tests on how it all works. Going to do some tests on google (and the other engines) targeting the word "geek" (as it somewhat fits with this site!)

I've been in random mode for a bit - thinking up new business ideas and considering actually getting to work on some of the ones that have made it past the randomness part of my brain :)

I was thinking of putting up seperate pages on discountgeek.com for random words and phrases. Partly to get the search engines here.. partly for the fun of it! :)

Visitors can submit a random subject and I'll write about it and link to some useful sites as well :)

Some people just can't seem to decide between Arts and Engineering... no idea why - I guess the truth is never shown to them until they hit the brutal courses.

I've got a midterm in one such brutal course called Fluid Mechanics (pre-req to Thermomechanics).

For those of you considering engineering but who aren't already die-hard for it.. browse through these few pages.. if it causes any little 'disasters' in your chair then take Arts. If it seems interesting then maybe engineering is for you :)
