Sorry to disappoint those who find my sense of humour actually funny but todays blog is going in the 'personal' category and not really an interesting read. Just felt like I should write it out. Hopefully someone out there will be able to get something out of it!

Everyone seems to have an idea on what I should do with my life. My friend Pete says if it was up to him my life goal should be to gain over 197 pounds in 7 days (to beat the world record) and then loose it all on national TV and get a million dollars.

Well Its middle of exams for me! Just taking a quick brain break to check my email etc then its back to Fluid Mechanics/Dynamics!

I'm glad everyone enjoyed my little April fools stunt :) It wasn't quite as dramatic as when I used to do that to the 4000 Joke A Whenever members each year :) ... so many gullible people out there that never read a full message before flying off the handle and responding LOL!

I was just taking a cruise through the site of the band that is tentatively booked to come to MABC for the 50th anniversary for the youth coffee house etc.

On their blog they had an interesting quote from someone that I think is all too true:

He is referring to the difference between artists that play live and others that use tracks and dancing to entertain, and (this may sound harsh) what I believe to be the difference between Music and a cheap (or not so cheap) trick.

When you think about all the major artists on MTV now - the majority just know how to dance well and somehow manage to keep that little piece of cloth or sticker equivilant in 'the right place' to keep the rating below XXX (to only XX).
