Humpty Dumpty Nachoz
I bought a nice bag of the new chillin cool dill Nachoz from the store the other day and when I was eating them I discovered a little bit of a suprise that I wasn't expecting - a large gooey ball of pure flavouring. Had a mighty suprise when I first bit a small ball of this pure flavouring. 'Strong' doesn't suffice to explain what it tasted like. I started to choke and thankfully had a can of pop next to me to stop the burning. I never really actually complain or say anything when I get a bad product but this was the first time I've seen something quite like this. So I'm sending them a letter and including the flavour balls and a picture of them in case the mail gets it all smushed.

Smoked By A Wheelchair
OK.. so there is this disabled guy at our school that just loves his powered wheelchair. I swear he has the thing tuned with a performance motor... its faster than most people jog.
Anyhow.. today was almost my demise when I bumped into him. He was flying up the ramp deeking in and out of the hundreds of students going down the ramp. We met head on and both swerved to miss the other. After both swerving the same way about 3 times in the row I finally stood still and his last swerve he just missed clipping me. Did I mention that during this whole thing he never once slowed down?
Gah.. some people
LOL :)

Exhausted
Man I'm exhausted. Three of us leaders took on 30 or so Jr. Higher's tonight in 5 games of dodgeball. Sadly we lost all of them - but it was pretty close. I guess having more balls in play than members on your team can make it a little difficult ;)
Man.. my lab today was so dumb. Well.. the lab wasn't but one of my lab partners was lol. He'll probably read this but meh ;) He was there for the lab but fell asleep once we got into it. Not much use when hes fast asleep! lol. Didn't help me stay awake any easier either - I was pretty tired myself. So I got some semi sweet revenge ;) Finished up the first half of the lab (with him sompletely fast asleep in the chair). I was either goign to roll him down the hall into the elevator and send him down to the bottm floor which arrives at the front of a lecture hall at the very front. It would have been hilarious!
I decided to be nice and quietly packed up my stuff and left him sitting there fast asleep at a big empty desk looking brilliant. LOL
Oh well - sweet revenge ;)

It was my first time last night...
Last night I discovered the wonders of snarled traffic on the 401, and some other awesome things in life :p
I ended up hanging out with a good friend of mine last night and in conversation she was shocked to find there was something that i had never experienced yet - and I'm 22 already...
That right I have never had...

On being healthy
Well - the end of the summer has finally come and school is into full swing now... *shudder*
Its been an awesome summer - lots of fun times (only a few got blogged!) with many different friends, and being able to invest time and energy into strengthening friendships has really paid off (no - I"m not cashing in :p).
At the beginning of the summer I blogged on
getting in shape and how my work wasn't helping much.

Good 'n Bad News!
Bad: I'm not the only one who hit a squirrel. I totally destroyed one on my way to school today. I think the squirrell gene pool is better off though - the thing ran out about 5 feet in front of my car. I only saw it on the right corner of my hood when it crossed the road. Poor thing :(
The good news:
I finally finished that quiz program I've been working on! Now I can generate (anyone can actually!) quizzes like those big quiz sites out there. The very first quiz was created by Sarah (link to her blog on the left) and its about the whole georgetown group thats been friends for a long time. Not every item is relevant to scoring your result so don't be too scared by some of them but its pretty funny stuff!
Which Haltonite Are You? ..Make sure to post your results on your blog!

I broke my blog!
As you may have noticed - there are a few things missing on my blog. Ever since I setup the quotes page it messed up :( Once of these days I'll fix it up.
I've made it through my first week of school - and survived :) No homework yet lol but the assignments they are talking about are rediculous. For example the embedded architechture design has one big assignment. We have to design a computer processor from scratch and build it :S
I've been thinking lately about a theory and I'm probably going to blog about it ;) It just in general about human kind and our self interests. Sarahs blog on selfishness kinda stole my thunder but at the same time inspired me to possibly blog it lol. We'll see :) And no.. its not related to any specific person etc something I noticed myself and then in others.

Lots of little things to share
I've been meaning to start up a quotes section for this site and put up random quotes I hear, quotes taken out of context and inspirational short thoughts.
You can read them at this secondary blog of
Quotes. Hopefully you can get a laugh at the misquotes, inspiration from the deeper ones and a smile from the funny thoughts. I will add to this queue as I get quotes. So if you have any - let me know and I'll add them. The ones in the "Out of context" category are all G rated - its your own mind that makes them anything worse. I posted an explanation in the Read More section for the ones that need explaning. :)

Happy To Be Alive!
Well today was my first day back at school. Trying to get classes sorted out and all that jazz. Quite a busy day with lots going on (not to mention trying to stay awake in classes!).
Ended off with a near death experience to top the day off.

Feelin' Peaceful
It doesn't make much sense logically but I feel such an overwhelming nostalgic feeling of peace right now. Situationally there is no real reason for it.

So Simple...
Was reading through one of my friends from KB's
blog today and saw something that really stood out:
If we are not in our Bible daily, it is so easy to play "church" in a heartbeat. If we are going to stand up for Christ there is a physical and mental price that we have to pay.
(See 2 Corinthians 11:23)
Think about that - its a simple thought but theres alot to that. If you don't get it ask yourself these three questions when reading it:
- Whats it saying
- Whats it saying to me? Does it apply to me?
- Is there anything i can change or improve because of it?
Think about it...
