I've been pretty busy lately with lots of things going on. Trying to keep on top of school, work and life. Lots of humourous stories intertwined in there including the long tale about my new pair of Jeans.. lol

As you should know if you follow my blog - I got out of an exam yesterday because of Jamie and Pam's wedding.

It was really great - some really neat ideas for the reception and a beautiful job of decorating. I think Jamie put it best: "I never knew Shift could look this good" (Shift - the church).

Anyhow - I took some pictures and we had a blast. I think there was good purpose for our table being the furthest away from the head table and in a quiet corner all by our loud selves.

Been listening to this song on repeat quite alot ever since I finally picked up the CD at Kingdom Bound back in August ;)

Since its midterm time and that means procrastination time.. I might as well post the lyrics :)

This is a Call...basically sums up the purpose for youth ministry. It sums up the emotions many of us face daily, and those who don't - can easily think of a time they have. Its pretty raw, and if you haven't already noticed. I like things the way they are.

As much as I crave sugar.. I can't take anything sugar coated.

I've had this entry mulling around for about a month now. Its on somethign I've been contemplating writing about since the beginning of the summer when the idea first came to me.

My good friend Ash blogged tonight about a very similar topic and I think I might just take the plunge and post what I was going to say.

Have you ever had one of those moments where something you have heard for ages suddenly clicks?

Well I was listening to Skillet today in my car and suddenly came to actually realize the lyrics of imperfection and think about them in some depth. Those that know me know that Skillet is one of my favorite bands and their cd has been listened to hundreds of times (I"m not kidding). School is finally picking up.. and I'm afraid its going to end up being a steam roller with no brakes on a steep hill.. going downhill behing me :S
