No Pain, No Gain

I just woke up a little while ago and I hurt. Not so much from sore muscles but just in general lol.

A few highlights from my day outside yesterday:

- I somehow managed to get a bad sunburn on my lower back. Its really really bad.
- I got bitten by a rattlesnake
- I lost my cell phone

- Woe is me ;) [Click to read the full post]

Exhausted

Soo much going on right now! I haven't had any time to do much around here lately now that I'm working full time. The last few days I've been working, stopping in for dinner at home and then heading out to work the rest of the night. I finally got an hour or two tonight to catch up on some stuff. I have a bunch of emails to still respond to and everything but I think I'm too exhausted to try [Click to read the full post]

The Other Side

There is always the other side...
For some, its the only side they see. But that, is only for some.
Others, its merely the flip side.
Yet in so many. It does not exist.

What is the 'other side'? Its the spiritual side. Living a completely different and often opposite life than our physical pursuits. [Click to read the full post]

On extra terrestrial transmissions and jazz

I grew up without a TV, and slowly had a VCR+TV combination introduced when I was mid way through elementary. We used to rent movies etc selectively on the weekends. Then my parents won a large HD TV (the one in my office), and its been downhill since then! I gave them a TV antenna for christmas and they were more then happy with the increase from 3-15 channels they could watch. Over time though the complaints came in, and it was just never good or clear enough.
So we went to the next level, and now have a large HD satallite dish on our roof feeding 3 TVs throughout the house.

How far would you go for a coffee?

As some of you may know, I went for a random road trip today.. just because I could, and I don't know when I"ll get another chance to make a random trip down to visit more distant friends!

I guess I've set a new distance/travel record for how far I've gone to visit someone for coffee. I had an amazing and very refreshing time going down to Olean/Allegany NY again today. [Click to read the full post]

Why I hate going to the dentist (Again)

Yes folks... today was try number two to fix my teeth.

Changed a few variables to ensure we didn't have any issues:
- Small dose
- Done away from any blood vessels so no risk of it getting into the blood stream
- Used the same anesthetic as was used 1 month ago on another filling without any issues [Click to read the full post]

He only loves us because of who He is...

Not only is this song great cruising music when your feeling mellow and the spring is just starting to show and the sun is beginning to shine.. but the lyrics are powerful.

Bolded items you can muse on a lifetime and not fully comprehend. [Click to read the full post]

A Glimpse of Hope

Just did the math and figured out where I stood in one of my courses. I think its going to be a hard class to study for the final for, but on the good side I figured out that I only needed 25% on the final in order to pass the course :) I think I should be able to manage that!
