...or something close to that :)

Its been a long long weekend and I've been enjoying almost every minute of it (except the part where it ended). I'm finally getting on top of everythign and getting around to blogging whats new in my life etc.

Friday was the night of my suprise birthday party! I'm guessing it may have been a comment I made a while back but my best friend Ash decided that for my birthday present she was going to go far out of her way to track down all (and I mean ..everyone on this planet that knows me that could possibly come) of my friends.

It was probably the best gift ever as it took alot of work and thought to put together. So a huge thanks to Ash for that very unique and special gift! I loved it :D

It wasn't totally a suprise for me though as I had started having some suspicions when Stephan asked me what Ash was msging him about thinking he was in trouble or something. I didn't know and it was only a few days after I mentioned the suprise b-day thing so that thought slipped through my head and got me wondering. After that Pete slipped up and wished me a happy birthday for Friday then tried to cover his slip by saying he was sure my b-day was in the single digits (Since when was May 19th a single digit?)

Despite all that it was an awesome time! :) It felt so great to have so many people come to celebrate my birthday with me because they wanted to, not because I invited them and they felt obliged! My friends from down in the US even tried to make it but in the end their plans got foiled :(.

So a huge thanks to Ash for planning the party - it was an amazing gift :D

A big thanks to everyone that came, and those of you who made a real effort to come but just weren't able to make it at the last moment. I felt so loved! :)
