Thanks for all the wonderful comments yesterday guys, and to those of you who called or left a message. It meant alot!!

I survived the surgury and somehow stumbled home. Unlike most people that get the drugs for wisdom teeth - they didn't give me the semiconscious one that they usually use that some people can awake from part way through or drift between consciousness and back again. I was out.. and they had a hard time waking me up after too!

I was waiting for distaster though. They had my name as "Andrew" written down and kept forgetting the corrected name we gave them. So I had visions of them trying to revive "Andrew" and getting no response LOL.

But.. they got that figured out I think. They doctors had to more or less drag me out of there. I'm a pretty big guy with a pretty long way to fall so I think they were a bit scared. The dentist that did the surgury is tall like me but not a big guy so I suspect I was a bit of a challenge to help out. (Picture two guys dragging me half standing to the car).

I got home and they had to drag me onto the couch and give me drugs. It was pretty painful by the time I got home. I was shaking pretty badly from the pain. A few "282's" solved that problem for me and had me almost completely out of it.

Last night was rough getting to sleep but when I woke up at 2 to take my meds again.. I didn't think I needed them that badly. Wasn't sure if I had taken them or not yet as well so I went without. So I guess thats a good sign. The most painful part for me right now is the fillings they did. My whole mouth was killing after that. The wisdom teeth stuff wasn't nearly as bad.

So I just took another 2 tylenol 3's this morning and I can feel myself going back out of it. Not exactly a feeling I enjoy.. but whatever. It doesn't seem to take the pain away either - just makes me groggy. But oh well..

Anyhow.. I'm going to sign off for a bit and get back to my jello + ice cream + applesauce three course meal!!

Thanks for your prayers - keep 'em coming. I'm slowly recovering and its feeling promising so far. I just wish I was allowed to create suction in my mouth .. because I can't drink with a straw and can barely open my mouth. Not to mention that my sinuses are draining and I can't clear anything. Gah!!
