I have a fascination with how people are convinced or persuaded by marketers to buy the most absurb things because of a 'need'. Its fascinating stuff.

If you've ever taken a marketing course in school they tell you how it all works and teach you everything. Its more or less stale and all figured out. There is another market that people aren't so aware of, and I have yet to find a course that deals with. Thats online marketing and its still in its infant stages.

I've been following it for the last 10 years or so, watching how people try to market, what works, what flops and what gets hated (ie spam). Its neat stuff really.

Since its a side interest of mine, and those of you interested in my life more than my interests, I've branched it off into a seperate blog.

I've got a good 5 or so quality articles already written for it (well at least scratched in a book). So I'll be updating it in the future once the whole school and life thing isn't keeping me occupied.

For those interested in what I'm doign now? I've got one more day of classes left and then its hardcore exam studying. Not fun, but heh - its almost over! Dec 10th is my first day of a new type of freedom.
