A Bachelor Moment
I'm in holding the fort mode during my exam times as my parents have gone away to have a memorial for my Grandmother where she lived before. So, as much as it might seem trivial to be enjoying having a rather large house under my command.. I thought I'd share a quick fun list of reasons why it can be good.
(Yes.. I am studying.. this is on my break!)
- I've moved all the "good" food and drinks down to my fridge where I can access it easier.
- I get to put the dishwasher on when it needs to go on.. not to try and fit 100% more stuff in it than you should and then wonder why it doesn't clean everything.
- When I clean up a mess.. it stays clean. Funny how that works eh? All the rest of the time it seems to be my fault when it gets dirty again.
- I can do weird things like storing the cups in the fridge so that when I need a cold drink I get a cold glass to go with that.
- Food on Demand.
- I get to discover new faster ways to cook things, and prepare stuff. Like making tea in a coffee maker.. because its faster. (Actually worked really really well!). You also can combine other things you want to brew in with it (ie the sugar or lemon etc), and its all take care of.
I also discovered that maple syrup works well to coat a frying pan when you cook on low heat. Just a touch and I had the world best chicken, bacon and cheese 3 egg omlet for my main meal yesterday!
Call me weird if you want ;) But eh.. C'est la Ed.
Back to exams now..

You made tea in the coffee maker? Couldn't the sugar clog it? Maple syrup in an omlet? How do you spell omilette anyway?
